Turn-mill and multi-axis machines
A turn-mill machine combines turning and milling in one machine, usually with a Y axis, a sub-spindle and live tools or a separate milling spindle. Complex parts are finished in one setup, which removes re-clamping error and reduces the number of machines needed.

How to choose
- Recalculate your current total time including setups and waiting between machines, not only cutting time.
- If milling is only drilling and light slotting: a lathe with live tools and a Y axis is often enough.
- Heavy milling or angled features: you need a machine with a separate milling spindle (B axis).
- Check your shop's programming and CAM capability before investing.
- Ask for a test cut with the real part to confirm cycle time.

Delivery, installation and warranty
New machines usually take about 1.5 to 5 months to build, depending on model and configuration. Installation, training and warranty service are provided by the builder or its dealer in Vietnam; the exact terms are stated in each quote. For many models a test cut with your own part can be arranged, so mention it in your request.
