CNC machine accessories
Accessories decide what the machine can hold and how stable the cut is. The right chuck, workholding and tool holders often improve accuracy and cycle time more than changing the machine.
Parts it suits
- Hydraulic chucks, rotary cylinders and draw tubes
- Soft jaws, hard jaws and collets
- Turret tool holders, turning holders, BT holders and chucks
- Replacement parts for machines in service
Specs to check
| Spec | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Machine model and year | Needed to identify accessories that fit. |
| Spindle nose | For example A2-5, A2-6, A2-8; sets which chuck fits. |
| Chuck size and through hole | Must match the cylinder and draw tube. |
| Turret type | For example BMT or VDI and its size; sets the tool holder type. |
| Machining center spindle taper | BT30, BT40 or BT50 and the pull stud type. |
| Part number or photo | Helps identify a replacement quickly. |
How to choose
- Always give the machine model and a photo of the nameplate when asking for accessory prices.
- When changing a chuck, check the cylinder, draw tube and allowed speed as well.
- Thin-walled parts: use soft jaws bored to the profile or a collet to reduce distortion.
- Keep wear parts in stock to avoid downtime.
- Send photos and dimensions if you do not know the part number.
Common options
- Collet chuck
- 2-jaw or 4-jaw chuck
- Live tool holders
- Live center
- Steady rest
- Tool presetter
Delivery, installation and warranty
New machines usually take about 1.5 to 5 months to build, depending on model and configuration. Installation, training and warranty service are provided by the builder or its dealer in Vietnam; the exact terms are stated in each quote. For many models a test cut with your own part can be arranged, so mention it in your request.
